Buongiorno! It has already been a week since I’m back from Milan Fashion Week and oh gosh! was it cold! The weather made a lot of things unpleasant such as waiting for a taxi after the afterparties or walking around during the day. But FW was also very fun and as I always say: it was great to see all the pretty faces again after Summer.
This season I went to Diesel Black Gold, Christian Pellizzari, Plein Sport, Daks and Moncler. Less shows than I usually go but tbh just enough.
I thought I would start by showing you first MONCLER’S Fashion Show that was definitely my favorite. It felt like I was in winter wonderland. There was fake snow on the ground, fir trees covered in snow and of course snow falling from the roof. I loved it (since it wasn’t real and it wasn’t cold at all inside). The show was held in their showroom close to Porta Genova area. A huge place where I kinda enjoyed walking through 😉
The Fall-Winter 2017/18 Collection was designed by american designer Thom Browne. It’s centered on the concept of mountaineering and hiking. To emphasize this idea, many of the items are made in fabrics using special techniques and detailing with mountaineering rope graphics and carabineer attachments.
In this show one couldn’t really recognize the models because some of them had a fake beard. I was surprised that the models could walk with the ropes around their legs. The show was a bit slow due to the walk of the models (haha) but it was great.
MONCLER has always been special so check out here the full show.

DIESEL BLACK GOLD
DIESEL BLACK GOLD was the first show Saturday morning. It was in a huge venue close to Navigli. Creative director Andreas Melbostad, reworked the iconic Diesel Black Gold staples with new shapes and proportions infused with an urban combat mood for Fall/Winter 17.
The mysterious, enigmatic attitude of Far East’ covert agents and mercenaries informed the look influenced by the intriguing Japanese martial arts.
